AirTrack Tumbling at Venice Beach

AirTrack Factory on Tour with Jack and Bailey Payne

With a shiny white Ford Mustang convertible and the huge white transporter van -later known as the ‘mothership’- Jack and Bailey were picked up from LAX where the 2 week journey began.
The Payne brothers are well known for their incredible tumbling skills. Jack, the younger brother, is a professional tumbler and world champion cheerleader who rose to fame on YouTube. Bailey shares his cheerleading background but became particularly known for his incredible tricking skills. This made him the first Red Bull sponsored athlete in his sport. Accompanying them is Maarten Puts, marketeer and videographer, from the AirTrack Factory HQ.

After a quick stop at Red Bull to load up on some canned energy, the AirTrack was set-up on the famous Venice beach. Soon, a crowd was gathering to witness the power of the Paynes live in action. Word started to spread and soon the AirTrack was filled with local trickers, tumblers and freerunners.

AirTrack tumbling into the pool!

From Los Angeles, the trip continued down the beautiful coastline all the way to San Diego. A grass field was found on Coronado Island, capturing the beautiful San Diego Skyline as a backdrop was picked for the new location and the AirTrack P3 was inflated once more. The tireless brothers once more showcased their skills. After a great session in the blazing San Diego sun, a cooling down was much needed. This cooling down was found at the house of Danny, a San Diego local who happens to have a nice big pool in his yard.
This created one of the more popular AirTrack set ups. Tumbling into the pool, and of course, hosing down the AirTrack to create an incredibly slippery slip ‘n slide.

AirTrack tumbling in the sand dunes!

From San Diego, the trip continued eastbound along the Mexican border to the Patton Valley sand dunes. The change of scenery, from mountains and rocks to the silky smooth yellow Egyptionlike landscape of these dunes, had us setting up the AirTrack in no time. Even here, the flips and flying drone quickly attracted the attention of a team riding their dune buggies and quads through the sandy hills. Very soon, our most scenic and cinematic video was born.
