Jack Payne in Amsterdam

It was a Sunday evening when my phone buzzed, notifying us that Jack Payne, a world champion cheerleader and famous athlete, was in Amsterdam, looking to do something cool.
The morning after, on Monday, a small AirTrack Factory crew met up with Jack in his Airbnb bordering the Amsterdam canals. With nothing planned we left with a big AirTrack P3 and bags of video equipment out into the city, hoping to find some sort of inspiration for a video.

Wandering through the streets of Amsterdam, watching boats float peacefully through the canals that wind the old Dutch city, Jack came up with the idea to put the AirTrack on a boat. A crazy idea, but surely worth a shot we went about, finding a boat big enough to fit our AirTrack on. After walking and asking around we came across an Amsterdam boat bearing the name ‘’DE SOEVEREIN”. This fancy dining boat usually sails it’s diners through the canals of Amsterdam, while they enjoy great food and drinks. We however were planning to use the boat for an entirely different purpose.

We set up the AirTrack on the roof of the boat. Covering almost the entire roof with the blue surface, fired up the drone and got our cameras ready. We then gave Jack the go and the boat was off. But what happens when you arrive at one of the very low and narrow bridges?

AirTrack Factory on Tour with Jack and Bailey Payne

With a shiny white Ford Mustang convertible and the huge white transporter van -later known as the ‘mothership’- Jack and Bailey were picked up from LAX where the 2 week journey began.
The Payne brothers are well known for their incredible tumbling skills. Jack, the younger brother, is a professional tumbler and world champion cheerleader who rose to fame on YouTube. Bailey shares his cheerleading background but became particularly known for his incredible tricking skills. This made him the first Red Bull sponsored athlete in his sport. Accompanying them is Maarten Puts, marketeer and videographer, from the AirTrack Factory HQ.

After a quick stop at Red Bull to load up on some canned energy, the AirTrack was set-up on the famous Venice beach. Soon, a crowd was gathering to witness the power of the Paynes live in action. Word started to spread and soon the AirTrack was filled with local trickers, tumblers and freerunners.

The AirFloor for Home Gymnastics

In 2015, AirTrack Factory was mainly producing big AirTracks for professional gymnastics clubs. The local elite gymnastics coach contacted us, asking if there would be a way for us to make something that was suitable for their gymnasts to train their skills at home safely, as they were always working on their gymnastics around the house, risking injuries.
After careful consideration of size, the AirFloor Home was born. When introducing it to the world, it immediately took the market by storm. The high quality equipment, with its softness and bounciness became the favorite piece of equipment for young gymnasts all over the globe.
